Images show latest DLC for Awakening altered for North America and Europe to block out character's behind.
It appears Nintendo has censored the latest downloadable content.
As point out, the Summer Scramble DLC in North America and Europe censors out Tharja's behind, which is presented in full in the Japanese version.
A pictorial breakdown of the two versions is available below.
IGN reports that everything else in the DLC, including images of other characters in swimsuits, was not altered in any way. Nintendo has not commented on the matter.
Reviewer Leo Stevenson writes, "Id like to tell you a story if youll indulge me. Having never played a Fire Emblem game before, I wasnt on board the hype train for Awakening. In fact, the game barely even registered on my radar. So, when our faithful Editor-in-Chief handed me the game and asked me to review it, I had no idea what I was getting myself into."
Nintendo's latest software release date calendar reconfirmed Monolith Software's X and the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem spin-off for North America and Europe.
Digitally Downloaded writes: "Returning Fire Emblem veterans can even enjoy a couple of new features like the ability to pair up heroes to directly support one another in combat. There is simply no reason to think that anyone would fail to get something out of Fire Emblem: Awakening. Its just that intelligent and entertaining."
